ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The location of the photoshoot is up to you; it can take place outdoors, in a studio, or in the comfort of your own home. Various service combinations and pricing options are available.

For studio sessions, the rental fee is charged separately. For shoots outside the city, you are responsible for providing or paying for transportation.

By booking a session with me, you agree that the shoot and subsequent image retouching will be carried out in my signature style. You also consent to the use of your photos in my portfolio, on my website and social media pages, and in promotional materials, as this is part of my professional practice.

If you prefer a private photoshoot (where I deliver the images to you without publishing them in my portfolio), please discuss this with me prior to the session.

The cost of photography or what exactly are you paying the photographer for?

The photography market offers a vast range of services at widely varying price points, and at first glance, it isn’t always clear why different photographers charge the same rates. I want to assure you of one thing: the hourly rate should not be the primary—or even a major—factor when choosing a photographer for a wedding or any other occasion.

Let’s be honest: skilled professionals do not charge low rates for their services. Regardless of the photography genre, a pro must master composition, understand and skillfully manipulate lighting, know how to direct a subject, act a bit like a psychologist to put people at ease, and guide them through posing—often demonstrating exactly what is needed. They are also deeply involved in the preparation phase, helping to select the right location and a harmonious look that satisfies the client and ensures aesthetic appeal. All of this is reflected in the price.

Wedding photography involves even more nuances—from the planning stages to the actual shoot—because, in this genre, there is no room for error.

When you hire a photographer, you aren’t just paying a price; you are selecting a reliable professional who can guide you in preparing for a major event like a wedding. A good wedding professional will devise a «Plan B,» offer creative ideas to bring your vision to life, and, above all, remain focused on delivering a great result. Wedding photographers rely on an extensive arsenal of high-end, expensive equipment. Furthermore, their work doesn’t end with the shoot itself; there is a massive, labor-intensive post-production process involved in editing the wedding footage.

Naturally, any skilled professional values their time and effort, and photographers are no exception. Furthermore, a true professional never rests on their laurels; they constantly grow and invest time and resources into their own development. These are just a few of the factors that determine the pricing for the photo shoots and services provided by a skilled photographer.

I am sharing this information so that you can understand my approach to my work and the values I hold, and gain insight into the qualities a professional should possess. Of course, everyone looks for and values different things in a photographer—and that is perfectly fine. What matters most is that the final result brings you joy. After all, photographers are storytellers who capture your emotions in beautiful images—and emotions and memories are priceless.

How to choose the professional who will be your wedding photographer:

  • Figure out what style of wedding photography you like;
  • Make a short list of photographers (3–4 people) who shoot weddings in this style and whose work you like;
  • Review the portfolio and try to understand whose work resonates most deeply with you;
  • Narrow your list down to two candidates;
  • Get in touch with them, chat online, or even better arrange to meet in person and get to know each other;
  • If the photos in the portfolio aren’t enough for you, ask for additional images or more complete sets from weddings. This is perfectly normal, and a photographer will have no trouble fulfilling such a request;
  • Once you feel a connection with the photographer, you can book your photoshoot and be confident that everything will go perfectly;
  • And if you feel that someone isn’t the right fit for you even if they are a top-notch professional, it is better to keep looking.

Creating a photo story is a magical connection between the models and the photographer, and I hope you find your own magician and never have cause for disappointment. Or simply get in touch with me.
